About the event

Khayyam Had Said is a unique musical collaboration that bridges the rich heritage of Iranian traditional music with the soulful textures of jazz. This ensemble brings together the evocative sounds of Kamancheh, Double Bass, Drums, and Piano, layered with powerful vocal performances.

At the heart of this performance lies the poetry of Omar Khayyam, presented in both Farsi and English. The repertoire also features the profound verses of legendary Persian poets such as Hafez and Rumi (Molana), weaving timeless wisdom with modern musical expression.

This cross-cultural fusion offers an intimate and expressive journey, blending deep-rooted classical traditions with improvisational freedom—an experience that is both deeply reflective and refreshingly contemporary.
